It is the phone call that every sister loves getting, that they are going to be an Aunt. I was so excited when Cara told me she was pregnant. I couldn’t stop thinking, “my baby sister isn’t a baby anymore.” Hahahaha. She and Aaron could hardly contain their excitement. It has been amazing watching the two of them step into the role of loving parents. Here are just a few photos from their maternity shoot, the hospital, and Silvia at 3 weeks. Careful, she might steal your heart like she has ours.

I have to say Amy and Steve are one of the most genuine, fun, and sweet couples I know. Their love for each other is so apparent. They have an uncanny way of making everyone they come in contact with feel special. It was a treat to get to shoot their wedding and to witness their love grow over the last year.

Cole, Terry, and Jonah have been waiting a long time for a little baby brother or sister to be part of their family. In July they got a phone called that answered all their prayers. The news of a baby girl waiting for them to take her home was everything they had hoped for. Little baby Joy has lived up to her name in every aspect. This family has lots of love to give and that is so obvious. We had fun laughing and playing while we took photos.

Here is little Mr. Jonah! As Shannon mentioned in her Last Minute Maternity post, Jonah will steal your heart! He is such a sweet boy. Looking at these photos of this little dude make me incredibly excited to have my very own newborn to snuggle in just two short months!

This was a mini session that I did at Jonah’s home as I dropped off dinner for his parents, Justin and Krissy, dear friends of ours. I loved getting to spend some time with Jonah during one of his first weeks here on earth…he’s already growing so fast and a completely new boy! That makes these photos even more precious. Enjoy!
